Niall Fallon is a Director, Creative Producer and Doctoral Researcher with extensive experience in movement direction, dramaturgy, and ensemble-based performance. Having worked across international theatre, opera, and interdisciplinary arts, he specialises in bridging artistic vision with rehearsal leadership. His expertise in physical theatre, improvisation, and contemporary dance, combined with his pedagogical background, steering company training while facilitating dynamic collaborations between choreographers, performers, and production teams. He has curated and performed in festivals and collaborations around the world. He grew up in the north of England and trained as a theatremaker and physical performer at Arthaus.Berlin (LISPA), The University of Kent, and Rose Bruford College London. His work includes working as the Choreographer and Director of Studio for the Berlin Opera Academy, an actor at the Deutsche Oper and Teatro Real Madrid, a dancer at the Dutch National Opera, a guest director at Capa College, a puppeteer in The Hatchling and an assistant director at the Salzburger Festpiele. He is based in Berlin and England. He is also a PhD Doctoral Researcher at East 15 Drama and Performance part of The University of Essex (AHRC CHASE Award funded). His specialism is in the topics of ensemble sensitivity, conceptualisation/visualisation of performance and theatre anthropology.
